Retreats at the Squaw Valley Chapel

Whether your group likes to ski, snowboard, hike, bike, horseback-ride or other year-round recreational activities, we have a room with a view in our beautiful Sierra setting!

The Church of Squaw Valley is the perfect place for an overnight group retreat. We are within walking distance of the world-class Squaw Valley Ski Resort. There is an abundance of nature and recreational activities to enjoy year-round, including downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, skating hiking, biking, climbing, bungee jumping, horseback riding, river rafting and much more.

In 2003, we completed a total restoration of our historic church, which was built for the 1960 Winter Olympics. We can comfortably accommodate 40 adults and/or children on mattresses in our Lodge Room (you bring the sleeping bags). We have showers in our women’s and men’s bathrooms, and two stalls and sinks in each. A large kitchen is available for group meal preparation. Our outdoor deck, lawn and barbeque are available for outdoor meals in summer and fall.

The cost is currently $20.00 per person per night for groups of 10 or more, with a two minimum on weekends (3-night minimum on holiday weekends).
